Paynesville, Liberia: January 20, 2025 – As part of Mayor Robert S. Bestmanโs reform policy since taking over as Head of the Paynesville City Corporation (PCC); the City government of Paynesville will Wednesday, January 22, 2025 transition its Revenue collection and HR management systems from analog to digital.
For years, PCC relied on analog systems that involved manual processes for revenue collection and HR management. These processes were characterized by physical paperwork, limited accessibility, and a higher likelihood of errors.
Revenue collection often involved in-person payments at PCC head office while HR management suffered from inefficiencies in data management, employee records maintenance, and payroll processing.
Recognizing the challenges posed by these outdated methods, with the guidance of Mayor Bestman PCC aimed to improve operational efficiency, enhance user experience, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
The transition to digital systems was not merely a modernization effort; it was a response to the growing demand for better governance and improved service delivery within Paynesville City.
PCC transition from analog to digital has had profound implications for both revenue collection and HR management. The corporation will experienced increased operational efficiency, with reduced processing times and improved accuracy in financial and personnel records.
Businesses and residents will benefit from quicker service delivery, which will lead to higher levels of satisfaction and compliance with local regulations.
Meanwhile, final preparation for this transition took place over the weekend involving employees from the Finance, Revenue and Human Resources Departments.
