Paynesville, Liberia: November 20, 2024 – The Mayor of the municipality of Paynesville, Robert S. Bestman, II on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 hosted local heads of the Joint Security in Paynesville.
The meeting with Joint Security is the first in many years for the Mayor of the City of Paynesville to have a one-on-one interaction with the Security apparatus of our City.
The Liberia National Police (LNP), Liberia Immigration Service(LIS) Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) and the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) attended the meeting.
Speaking before the closed-door session, Mayor Bestman said the purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the collaboration and working relationship with the Joint Security in Paynesville.
𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲; 𝗔𝘀 𝗛𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽
According to Mayor Bestman, collaboration and cordial relationship between PCC and Joint Security is key to keeping Paynesville and residents safe at all times.
At the same time, the Paynesville City Mayor has pledged the City government of Paynesville unflinching support to the Joint Security of Paynesville.
For his part, Paynesville City Police Director, Lt Melvin Tolbert told representatives of the Joint Security that the meeting was also intended to strategize on how to provide security during the festive season.
Director Tolbert named ELWA Junction, Red light Market, Duport Road Junction and GSA Junction as areas of concentration.
Meanwhile, the Joint Security of Paynesville has welcomed the collaboration and promised to work collaboratively with the Paynesville City Corporation.
