Paynesville, Liberia:ย March 13, 2025 – As part of the many reforms since assuming the mantle of authority at the Paynesville City Corporation (PCC); Mayor Robert S. Bestman, II and Team have completed 50% of the construction of a new office building.
For years most of the departments at the PCC havenโt had or have a proper office space which is a significant step towards enhancing administrative efficiency and improving service delivery.
In March 2024, Mayor Bestman announced the commencement of the construction of a new office building for the Paynesville City Corporation.
Mayor Bestman at the start of the construction emphasized the need for expanded office space to accommodate the growing needs of the community and improve the overall functioning of city services.
โAs Paynesville continues to grow and develop, it is crucial that our city government has the resources and infrastructure necessary to meet the demands of our residents,โ he stated.
According to Mayor Bestman, the new office building will not only provide a conducive working environment for our dedicated staff but also enhance accessibility for our citizens.
The new building is designed to house various departments within the Paynesville City Corporation, streamlining operations and providing a central location for residents to access city services.
Mayor Bestman highlighted that the project aligns with the cityโs long-term vision of fostering transparency, efficiency, and responsiveness in local governance.
Funding for the construction comes exclusively from the annual municipal taxes collected from businesses operating in Paynesville.
